Horse Story |
|
| |
Poem by Ashlee Smith, Adrian, MO |
|
| |
Me and you were best friends
We knew everything about each other
Our love never ends
Everything I do, I do for you
|
| |
| Now every show I go to
I look up at you
And I say "I win for you, Max"
Then I take a deep breath
And relax | |

You were my only friend for awhile
I looked forward to coming
And seeing you
You filled my heart with such joy
Nothing else ever did
Not even a toy |
| |
So now every night before I sleep
I think of you so deep
Then the next morning
I know you¡¯re still there
Waiting for me to come
Meet you there |
